this video was very motivational and informative !!
thank you! wish me luck! i’m just starting on my transition to a raw food life style .. hope i can stick to it! thanks again !
Stay away from any stimulants.
Don’t beat the dead horse(Your cells)
teehee she said bum
That must have been fantastic!!
no more coffee for me either..don’t know if iwill have some on the day of my ny marathon though..I am also in the thick of a detox now since going 100% low fat raw vegan from attending Heanlt and Fitness wee with Dr. Doug Graham. RAwsome!
Great question, I’ll do a video on that– stay tuned!!
Coffee enema is a whole other story than drink a few cups of coffee every single day for decades– thats when you feel the withdrawl!!!
how long does detox last on a raw food diet?
A migraine headache for a week??? You have not heard of coffee enemas, made famous by the Gerson Therapy. No detox migraines here!!!
The headaches are brutal, but sooooo well worth it. I am happy coffee is out of my life!!
I got headaches from stopping drinking coffee too.
wonderful!! Embrace the detox, you will get to the other side!!
Thank you for discussing this with us. Even tho I have been mostly raw for 4 months, I am doing a lot of juicing right now which is really kicking in the detox and weight loss.
giggle!!
How about surfing the net and finding real super yum raw recipes that you enjoy so much while your family eats cooked– therefore you don’t feel deprived as you are radiantly glowing!!!!
My husband, unfortunately, is fairly anti-veggie. Meat and potatoes are his staples. I have no clue how his cholestorol can be better than mine! lol
The skin problems is just detox, you release toxins through the skin– it irritates it and you get break outs. Give it some time, and it will balance out. Break outs in the beginning are completely normal. Try not to mix fat with fruit (ie. nut/seeds w/ fruit).
Yay!!!
Awesome, Thank You so much!!!
Do what your heart desires!! Personally, I think the best is to do things in balance, sometimes one extreme pushes you to the other extreme. Nothing wrong with adding more and more raw foods and finding recipes that your entire family enjoys
Yes its terrible. Look into getting food from local farmers– super fresh and cheaper as well
You might actually need the extra fat. I’ve been adding extra hemp seeds and other seeds in my diet lately and it has been helping A LOT. The fats are important for our neurological system. I too can’t fall asleep if I’m too hungry, or stay asleep long if I’m hungry– more hungry, less sleep. Its a sign to eat a little extra for dinner, or have a heavier lunch.
Yes, go at the pace that is most comfortable for you. It is normal to have emotional ups and downs, but no need to torture yourself!! Best always to listen to your body!
After 18 days on Raw food, I am going back to meat, I lost weight and will stay with the “greens” but it made my skin worst.
I think because of too many fruits.
I am starting now a yeast free diet .
just found you…have 55 back vlogs to watch
While I don’t plan to go raw myself I like your videos, they give alot of insperation. Thank you for uploading them!
