Not all Raw Food is Healthy (Part 1 of 3) A Must Watch Video
Posted by adminJan 26
John from www.okraw.com gives a lecture at Hippocrates Health Institute in Florida, “Just because its raw doesn’t mean its healthy”. Not all raw foods are created equal. Learn how to determine which raw foods you should and should not eat by watching this presentation. This is part 1 of 3.

The native peoples who made maple syrup did so by boiling tree sap down to the actual syrup. Grades A, B, and C refer to how filtered and refined the finished syrup is. All maple syrup is boiled and not raw. I’m not 100% raw, so that’s not a problem for me and if the first peoples found it valuable, I’m good with that. YMMV.
@Ineedmorelives I agree with you about the maple syrup question. I eat grade B maple syrup ONLY (& it is not pasteurized) so I would consider it raw. The grade A maple syrup IS pasteurized so I can see how that one is not considered raw.
People are pushing raw cocoa and it really doesn’t seem to be healthy. Yes, it tastes wonderful and it has anti-oxidants but there are neuro-toxins.
People are being deceived by people who are into all these high sugar fruit recipes and they take their undisciplined lifestyle into the raw food moment. Everything they do is in their vitamix and blender etc…I just eat RAW whole food and I am learning about living food.
Why can’t maple syrup be raw if it comes out of a tree and is not pasteurized?
@thebrinksf
well he was mainly talking about items that are used in the gourmet recipes that aren’t truly raw such as agave. It’s for people who really want to stick to a 100% raw diet. If you want to know what he says, you’re going to have to listen to the video : D
@angelbe88 but the title says “Not all raw food is healthy” so apparently this person thinks not all of them are good. Which ones ended up not being good?
@thebrinksf
They’re all good. The juicier the better.
Raw food is all about Fruits, greens, vegetables, herbs, nuts and seeds.The other stuff is simply to satisfy the palate. It’s ok if you coming from the SAD diet as the taste buds are used to salt, sugar, and fat. Over time it’s natural to progress to a very simple diet and much easier to prepare. I don’t even eat my salads with dressing anymore, but if you like dressing there are some great fruit based ones.
Agave nectar is not raw. At least not any of the products we can get here in the US. Maybe in some parts of Mexico you can get raw, unprocessed, fresh pressed agave, but here it is heat treated and boiled down and processed. It has a higher fructose percentage than high fructose corn syrup. I would stay far far away from agave nectar.
Florida, ofcourse. Raw Food is good when you only live in a sunny place or have the luxury to create a tropical atmosphere in your house and don’t have to leave it for your work. As long as I do not see a outdoors working bricklayer from Alaska living on Raw Food I will stick to my argument that Raw Food is NOT for those working outdoors in the northern zones.
I was actually eating a raw revolution bar as I watched this video. Creepy. Thanks for the info.
Are the coconut liquid aminos better than braggs?
Thanks for posting this John! Best wishes to you! Enjoyed watching!
Couldn’t you list in 5 minutes all the good and bad fruits?
@scotchlouis there were also recent studies from universities that say the opposite.

Wasn’t y0u vaccinated?
hello fellow analytical one, trying to avoid method of aftermath too ie mercury’s known twenty years later so not casual at all with cell phone or our cells… how really convenient if unharmonizing yes even packaged raw as organic ingredient but juice, not bottled pasteurized but over pressed from patience for juicy isn’t permeating truth maybe. simple gamut on own or engrossed w/ other reactions releases much vs mass consider. coincides mismatch making food mentality or letting it constitution
Thanks for this!
Great video with good advice.
It’s sad that the other two videos have less than a quarter views that this one does.
FYI: In Brian Clement’s book “Lifeforce”, there are recipes that call for Braggs Liquid Amino Acids. Also, there was an article in Skeptic Magazine that debunks the theory that cell phones cause cancer. Thanks for the video.
Thanks John!
