Raw Food Diet for Candida and Diabetes

The reason why I linked Candida, yeast infections and diabetes with the raw food diet is because all three of these things can be cured entirely by a raw food diet. Even type 2- diabetes. Don’t believe me? Do a quick Google search on “raw for 30 days and diabetes”. People with diabetes are most likely to have Candida as well.

Candida is the root cause of yeast infections, curing your Candida you will automatically get rid of your yeast infection as well. Candida, short for Candidiasis, is caused by an overgrowth of the fungus Candida Albicans in your body. Sugar, stress, exposure, antibiotics, birth control pills are all reason for why the population may tip and create problems for your body. Sugar is what fuels it, so people who have a diet rich in sugar most likely have it. People with diabetes most likely have a history of high sugar consumption, so risk for one is risk for the other.

Raw food Dieting

Anyways try eating raw for 30 days and expect life changing results. The raw diet was introduced on the Tyra Banks show and even Woody Harrison is a raw foodist – bet you didn’t know that. You will get an incredible abundance of energy, lose excess pounds and detoxify all at the same time. By raw I don’t mean raw meat or dairy. I’m mean raw uncooked foods such as pineapple, young coconut, avacado, pomegranate, watermelon, tomatoes etc. There are more nutrients in non-cooked foods and has a lot less sugar. If you don’t know what to eat blend a shake using fresh fruits. Or throw together a salad using raw nuts, greens and fruits.

Be a Conscious Eater

While switching to a raw food diet, the best way is to be a conscious eater. Don’t just stuff food into your mouth. Avoid highly refined foods including anything with white flour in it. Junk foods with lots of sugar, juices, colas, fried foods. If you want to reach for a coke, grab a glass of water instead. Incorporating more and more raw fruits and vegetables into your diet into you have fully transitioned. Make sure you are eating enough calories.

Planning to go into raw food diet? Before you plunge into this type of eating pattern, be sure that you know the basic about raw food diets and be sure as well that you’re ready for the sacrifices you have to make. This diet is one of the most effective when it comes to promoting overall well-being, preventing diseases, as well as for losing weight. However, people going into this diet must learn how to do less with meat and fish, and to do more with fruits and vegetables instead. Rawfood diet doesn’t completely shun meat and fish, but it largely focuses on plant-based food. And whatever meat and fish are incorporated in the diet, they’re prepared raw.

A Look at Raw Food

Raw foodists, the people who follow the raw food eating pattern, believe that fresh and natural foods are the best sources of nutrients. Compared to cooked or heated food, the nutrients in raw food are complete?nothing gets lost in the preparation process, unlike the case with cooked food. Raw foodists believe that heat (temperature above 116 degrees Fahrenheit) dissolves the food’s nutrient content. Plus, it also reduces the enzymes in the food, which is an important food component that helps in the digestive process. Therefore, if you are in search of nutritious food, the best is to go raw.

Raw Food Preparation

The primary components of raw food diets are organic food. Among these are the following:

?

Are you interested in a raw food diet, but don’t think you can do it all the time? You don’t have to, certainly not to start. Many of us are conditioned to think of food as reward and comfort. We look forward to the end of the day, having dinner with our families, or going out to dinner with friends.

Try eating raw foods throughout the day. If you go to work every day, take carrots, apples, grapes or dried fruit with you to munch on. If you usually go out to lunch during the day, try to go places where you can get a salad. If you pack a lunch, include sprouts and fruit with it. Steamed brown rice and vegetables and a little fruit might not sound very interesting, but it’s a good energy lunch. If you’re like many people, those fast food lunches make you want to crawl under your desk and take a nap in the afternoon! They make you sluggish and tired. A lighter lunch of raw foods can keep you energized throughout the day.

The business culture is different these days, and there’s less of a routine than there used to be with a morning “coffee break” and then “lunch hour” and an afternoon “break.” That routine doesn’t work for a lot of people any more, but you can still get hungry during the day. By taking a variety of raw foods with you to work, you can munch periodically during the day. Sometimes it’s better to eat to avoid getting hungry. If we let ourselves go too long until we get ravenous, that’s when it’s easier to make poor food choices. Eating raw foods periodically throughout the day also keeps your metabolism humming along, and keeps your blood sugar at steady levels.
